Big news has just dropped in the world of supercross, Christian Craig has officially signed with Quad Lock Honda for the upcoming 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship. The 2022 250SX West champ will line up in the SX1 (450cc) class aboard the CRF450RWE, joining forces with teammate Joey Savatgy.
A Big Move for Craig and Honda
Team manager Martin Davalos welcomed Craig with high praise, calling him a proven race winner who brings consistency, professionalism, and the drive to win. Davalos also admitted he’d rather have Craig inside the Honda camp than lining up against him.
Craig himself sounded equally motivated, highlighting how much success he’s had in the past with Honda machinery. He described Quad Lock Honda as a team with one clear mission, winning races, and said he’s grateful to be part of that push for the 2025 season.

Bouncing Back from Setbacks
This signing marks the start of a fresh chapter after what’s been a difficult couple of years. Injuries have stalled Craig’s progress since his breakout 2022 season.
• At the end of 2024, he suffered a serious crash in the SuperMotocross World Championship, which led to knee surgery and caused him to miss the first nine rounds of the 2025 AMA Supercross season.
• Before that, he endured a nightmare run with his elbow, needing four separate surgeries after repeated dislocations. The long layoff left him battling muscle weakness, especially in his tricep, and fighting to rebuild both strength and confidence.
Craig has openly admitted that the last couple of years have felt like a “washout,” but his determination to get back to the front has never wavered.

Why This is the Right Time
Signing with Quad Lock Honda gives Craig a much-needed reset. Returning to a brand where he’s enjoyed success in the past, backed by a team with serious pedigree, puts him in the best position to rediscover his form. He has the experience, the speed, and now, the platform to put everything together.
Eyes on the 2025 World Supercross Season
With the World Supercross Championship set to open in Malaysia before heading across the globe, Craig now has the chance to showcase what he can do on an international stage. For fans, the big question is simple: can he put the injuries behind him and remind the world what he’s capable of?

Big Picture
Christian Craig’s move to Quad Lock Honda is more than just a transfer, it’s a comeback story. After years of setbacks, he now has the bike, the team, and the motivation to prove he still belongs at the sharp end of the sport. If he can stay healthy, 2025 could be the year we see Craig back where he belongs, fighting for wins.
